Fair Park Apartments

September 17, 2015 – Fair Park Apartments opened its doors in September after a ribbon cutting ceremony on the site. The 40-unit renovated family housing development in Sardinia, Ohio was originally constructed in 1982 and contains 8 one-bedroom garden units, 24 two-bedroom garden units, and 8 three-bedroom townhomes units in three buildings. The renovation added a new community building to the development. Wallick-Hendy Development developed Fair Park and Wallick Properties Midwest, LLC is the management company.

Fair Park Apartments offers on-site management, on-site laundry facilities, a playground and the new community building. Each unit contains a range, carpet, refrigerator, central air conditioning, garbage disposal, patio/balcony, dishwasher, and window blinds.  Residents will be provided with supportive services through a Resident Service Coordinator who will assist in accessing needed programs and services.

Fair Park ApartmentsFair Park Apartments was developed using a combination of Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Housing Development Loan and an HDAP loan of Ohio Housing Trust Fund proceeds administered by the Ohio Housing Finance Agency.  The construction loan was provided by Huntington Bank.  Other funding sources include Lancaster Pollard and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Equity investment was provided by Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing.
