Fairway Vista

(New Affordable Family and Special Needs Housing Development)

September 23, 2016 —Fairfield Homes, Inc. and Gorsuch Managementcelebrated the grand opening of Fairway Vista in Muskingum County with a ribbon cutting ceremony on September 23, 2016.  An investment of $6.2 million provides 31 units of rehabilitated family housing and 6 new construction units of permanent supportive housing for those suffering drug and alcohol dependencies.

The Fairway Vista complex includes a community room, on-site laundry facilities, on-site management, playground, and basketball courts. Each homes includes a garbage disposal, refrigerator, carpet, central air conditioning, window blinds, video security system, and patios/balconies. The Muskingum Economic Opportunity Action Group will provide social service coordination to the residents.

Fairway Vista was developed using a combination of Low Income Housing Tax Credits and an HDAP loan administered through the Ohio Housing Finance Agency, funding through the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the Ohio Department of Mental Health.     Equity investment was provided by Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing and its affiliate, the Ohio Capital Finance Corporation which provided a predevelopment loan.
