(Ground Breaking Held for New Senior Housing in Cincinnati, Ohio)
July 14, 2016 —A ground breaking at the construction site of the new Marlowe Court senior housing development was recently held in the College Hill neighborhood of Northern Cincinnati, Ohio.
The 53-unit 4-story mixed-use development will be built to LEED for Homes Silver standards. The development will contain an onsite clinic and supportive services space as well as retail and commercial space. Marlowe Court will feature on-site management, a community room with kitchen, laundry facilities, fitness center, storage, and a picnic and lounge area.
Homes will contain central air conditioning, ceiling fans, window treatments, intercom, and new appliances.
Financing for Marlowe Court was a combination of Low Income Housing Tax Credits and a Bridge Loan administered through the Ohio Housing Finance Agency, City of Cincinnati HOME funds, funding from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati AHP grant, Huntington Bank and funding through Episcopal Retirement Homes Affordable Living, LLC. Equity investment was provided by Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing. The project was developed by Episcopal Retirement Homes Affordable Living, LLC and College Hill Community Urban Redevelopment Corporation. The development will be constructed by the Model Group.
