OCCH Restructures Acquisitions Department

OCCH is excited to announce a reorganization of the Acquisitions Department into a Fund Management Department and a Development Department. This new structure will allow OCCH to better leverage and align the strengths and diversity of the staff and to execute an even better strategy to continue to deliver innovation and value-added services to our partners. Jack Kukura will lead the Fund Management Department as Chief Investment Officer and Joe Pimmel will serve as Chief of Development. Congratulations to Jack and Joe!

OCCH is pleased to announce recent additions to our staff.

Sharon Anderson, Program Specialist, Ohio Homeowner Assistance, LLC

Ms. Anderson joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing in 2017 working with the Ohio Homeowner Assistance, the fiscal agent to the Ohio Housing Finance Agency’s Hardest Hit Fund/Save the Dream program.  As Program Specialist, she assists in the recording and reporting of all aspects of the program that administers the disbursement of more than $760 million in Hardest Hit Funds.  Prior to joining OCCH full time, Ms. Anderson worked as the assistant to the Dean of Student Learning & Engagement at Baylor University in Waco, Texas where she managed numerous calendars, coordinated travel, prepared expense reports and supervised student workers. She served as the executive assistant for a real estate/developer company in the Cleveland area for more than twenty years and previously worked at Target Corporation. Ms. Anderson has lived and worked in Hawaii, New York, Massachusetts, Florida and Texas. 

 

Mike Hennessee, Help Desk Support Specialist, OCCH

Mr. Hennessee joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing in January 2017 as Help Desk Support Specialist. In this position, he is responsible for the daily operations of the Helpdesk, providing support for software and hardware issues, and ensuring that the day-to-day technical needs of the organization are met. Prior to joining OCCH full time, he served as an Information Technology consultant for OCCH and Service Desk Support with various other organizations such as Nationwide Insurance and Ashland Inc.

 

Shirlene Smith, Administrative Assistant/Receptionist, OCCH

Ms. Smith joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing in January 2017 as Administrative Assistant/Receptionist in the Operations and Communications department.  Ms. Smith provides administrative support to the organization while managing the reception desk. Her responsibilities include welcoming visitors, answering and directing calls, managing mail,  in-house catering, shipping/receiving, office supply ordering and vender service calls, general clerical, receptionist, and project-based work. Ms. Smith has over 20 years of administrative experience. Prior to joining OCCH, she served as front desk receptionist at Retail Design Group and Chute Gerdemen.
