Worthington Creek

October 23, 2015 - MV Affordable Housing, LLC and Community Resources recently celebrated the grand opening of Worthington Creek in Parkersburg, West Virginia. The new construction, 36-unit development features on-site management, security intercom entry, a community room with kitchenette, supportive services, computer center, fitness and theater rooms, community gardens, picnic shelter and outdoor seating areas.

Unit amenities include range, central air conditioning, refrigerator with ice maker, carpeting, dishwasher, window blinds, garbage disposal, laundry room with washer and dryer, storage, kitchen pantry, walk-in closets, linen closets, breakfast bar, energy efficient design, universal design features, and visitability/accessible features.

Worthington Creek was developed using a combination of Low Income Housing Tax Credits administered through the West Virginia housing Development Fund, a construction/perm loan provided by FirstMerit Bank, City of Parkersburg HOME funds, and an Ohio Affordable Housing Loan through the Ohio Capital Finance Corporation. Equity investment was provided by Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing.
