Clinton Circle

October 24, 2016 - The Levin Group, Inc. and residents celebrated the grand opening of Clinton Circle, a renovated 80-unit affordable family property in Defiance, Ohio with a ribbon cutting ceremony this week.  Clinton Circle consists of 7 one-bedroom units, 60 two-bedroom units, and 13 three-bedroom units, all of which are available to residents at or below 60% Area Median Income. The renovation includes a new 2,500 square foot community building on an adjacent lot. 

Clinton Circle features a picnic area, expanded playground, exterior storage, laundry facilities, and video surveillance. The community room includes a computer lab, outdoor patio, kitchen, and office space for the full-time on-site property manager.

Home amenities include window blinds, walk-in closets, balconies or patios, ceiling fans, garbage disposals, new appliances, and carpet and vinyl floor coverings.  Northwestern Ohio Community Action Commission will offer supportive services to the residents which will include personal finance training/planning through the IDA and CHOICES programs, education and job training opportunities, and life skills training.

Clinton Circle was developed using a combination of Low Income Housing Tax Credits and an HDAP loan administered through the Ohio Housing Finance Agency, financing through the Ohio Capital Finance Corporation, funding through the USDA RD 538 program through Lancaster Pollard, and assumed Mark to Market notes. Equity investment was provided by Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing.
