Ribbon Cutting Held for Rehabilitated Logan Place Apartments in Mansfield, Ohio

July 25, 2014 – An affordable housing complex constructed in 1980 received a major renovation recently and held a ribbon cutting today with development partners and residents. Logan Place Apartments is the $5 million rehabilitation of 45 one-bedroom units in a three-story elevator building. The renovated units feature new floor plans including a bathroom/bedroom suite for ease of movement in the unit.

Units include new appliances, window blinds, intercom entry, central air conditioning, storage, ceiling fan with light, garbage disposal, microwave oven, carpet and vinyl flooring, and emergency call buttons. Social services are provided to the residents.

 

Logan Place was developed using a combination of low-income housing tax credits and an Ohio Housing Trust Fund loan administered through the Ohio Housing Finance Agency, a preservation bridge loan through the Ohio Capital Finance Corporation, and funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Equity investment was provided by Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing.
