Lending

The Ohio Capital Finance Corporation (OCFC) was formed in 2002 as the nonprofit lending affiliate of OCCH. OCFC is a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and Member of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati. OCFC provides capital for predevelopment-stage activities, and offers flexible financing products that are necessary, especially for nonprofit developers, and that are generally not otherwise available.

OCFC’S core product lines continue to expand to meet the needs of affordable housing developers and provides a full range of services including predevelopment financing, acquisition financing, equity bridge / construction loan financing, and permanent financing. OCFC expanded its reach in 2018 beyond tax credit lending to encompass neighborhood transformation and preserve naturally occurring affordable housing through the establishment of the Southside Renaissance Fund.
