Tom Kindron, CPA, Senior Asset Manager

Mr. Kindron joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) as an Asset Manager in January 2006 and was promoted to Senior Asset Manager in 2009. In this position Mr. Kindron is responsible for reviewing project budgets, assisting with the preparation of quarterly financial reports to investors, performing physical property inspections, and reviewing compliance documentation. In addition, he works to stabilize high-risk and troubled properties to ensure that the properties are performing to meet the investors' expectations. He also works with properties through the Y-15 process. Mr. Kindron's LIHTC portfolio consists of 70+ properties located throughout the states of Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky that have been developed with various HUD, HOPE VI and bond financing sources. He is also a trainer for the Basic Budgeting class presented annually to OCCH's partners and CHDO organizations. Before joining OCCH, Mr. Kindron served as Controller with the Hamilton Parker Company. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Franklin University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Mr. Kindron is a Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) in Section 42 compliance and also a Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM). He served nine years on the board of the nonprofit organization, Rebuilding Together Central Ohio, as Treasurer and as Vice President and still volunteers on a regular basis.
