The Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) is pleased to offer the OCCH Training Academy. The Training Academy is dedicated to linking OCCH partners with quality property management training and technical assistance follow-up and to assist in making it affordable.

The need for quality property management training has never been higher. To help OCCH partners be successful, the Training Academy offers:

 

• Free or low-cost OCCH sponsored trainings
  • See the 2012 OCCH Training Academy Schedule.
• Discounted training through the Columbus Apartment Association (CAA) and the Midwest Affordable Housing Management Association (MAHMA)
  
  There are significant cost reductions for people associated with OCCH partner properties:
  
  
  • All applicable trainings are listed on the 2012 OCCH Training Academy Schedule.
  • Register with OCCH at least five days in advance for any training sponsored by CAA and attend the training for $50 per person.
  • Register with OCCH at least five days in advance for any training sponsored by MAHMA and attend the training for the discounts listed below:
    • $50 – for classes regularly $159 and lower
    • $75 – for classes regularly $160–$259
    • $125 – for classes $260 and higher

• Scholarships
  • A limited number of scholarships are available for qualifying properties on a first-come, first-served basis.
• In-house private trainings
  • OCCH staff members can conduct private in-house training sessions for your staff on marketing, tax credit compliance, and fair housing.
