In 2022, OCCH redesigned its training curriculum and rebranded its long-standing OCCH Training Academy to the Affordable Housing Training Academy (AHTA).  Over the course of 2022, AHTA onboarded 19 management companies as new clients, representing 750+ learners who are managing 20,000+ units across 465 properties. In the fall, AHTA’s commitment to serve the needs of the affordable housing community led us back to our initial clients to host a one-day symposium on the state of training in property management.  During this facilitated meeting hosted by nationally recognized Dr. Debbie Phillips of the Quadrillion, we solicited feedback from our early adopters to uncover any gaps in our content offerings and to identify key areas for content expansion. As a result, AHTA experienced a three-fold increase in the volume of online learning content being offered to front line property managers and service technician staff directly addressing the needs identified by our partners facing issues common to the industry.
