Catherine Cawthon is President and CEO of Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing. Catherine comes to OCCH from Fifth Third Community Development Corporation where she served as President. The Fifth Third CDC invests in community projects that support affordable housing, economic revitalization and stabilization as well as job creation. The CDC’s portfolio includes low-income housing, historic and new market tax credit projects as well as investments to CDFI’s. Under her leadership, Fifth Third CDC has invested over $4.5 billion in more than five hundred projects. Catherine was responsible for business development, origination and asset management functions for the bank. 

Catherine has served on boards including Affordable Housing Investor Council, United Way, Local Initiatives Support Corporation and the Ohio Community Development Finance Fund. Currently, Catherine serves on the Ohio Housing Council and Council for Rural Housing in Ohio’s Advisory Board and Chairs the Joint Columbus and Franklin County Housing Advisory Board.

Catherine graduated from Illinois State University and earned an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Mr. Beam joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) as the Executive Vice President of Development in October 2023. In his role, he manages a team of development officers responsible for developer relationships and new LIHTC investment opportunities. Prior to joining OCCH, Mr. Beam served as the Regional Vice President of The Community Builders, where he led a regional development team and was responsible for the origination and execution of complex, mixed-income, mixed-finance, and real estate development projects. He has also been active as an advocate for local, state, and federal housing policy and investment strategies and has been involved in various organizations and committees, including the Ohio Housing Council, Affordable Housing Alliance of Central Ohio, Cincinnati Housing Our Future Steering Committee, and the Cleveland 10-Year Housing Investment Advisory Committee. Mr. Beam earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Notre Dame and two masters’ in city planning and Real Estate Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Mr. DiBlasi joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in 2003 and currently serves as EVP, Operations and Asset Management. In this capacity, he is responsible for the strategic direction of OCCH’s Asset Management, Operations and Information Technology Departments. Prior to joining OCCH, Mr. DiBlasi worked eight years in the affordable housing industry where he assumed many roles for National Church Residences, a nationwide provider of affordable housing and supportive services. Mr. DiBlasi is a Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP), a Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM), a Certified Housing Asset Manager (CHAM), a Certified Nonprofit Housing Management Specialist (NHMS), and Fair Housing Compliance (FHC) certified. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science/International Relations from Ohio University.

Mr. Hartranft joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in December 2013. He currently serves as EVP, Legal Services and General Counsel. In this role, he oversees the Legal Services Department including the equity investment closing process as well as supporting the organization on legal matters. Mr. Hartranft served as EVP, Risk Management and General Counsel from 2020 until 2023 leading the Risk Management Department and as Corporate Counsel for OCCH from 2013 until 2020 as a member of the Fund Management Department. Mr. Hartranft started his legal career in the corporate department of the law firm of Porter, Wright, Morris & Arthur LLP. He is a licensed attorney in the State of Ohio and graduated from Capital University Law School.

Mr. Chad Ketler has been with Community Properties of Ohio since its inception in April 2003. He is currently President & CEO of Community Properties of Ohio Management Services (CPO Management), an affiliate of Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH). CPO Management began as a $133 million preservation initiative, consisting of 250 buildings and 1,385 scattered-site units in seven inner city neighborhoods. This effort sought to create neighborhood stability and a climate of revitalization through housing renovation and effective management. Mr. Ketler is responsible for directing all facets of the organization including financial management, operations and business development. He also serves as the President & CEO of the 501(c)(3), Community Properties Impact Corporation (CPO Impact) and plays a key role in maintaining the mission-driven focus of the organization.

Mr. Ketler serves on the Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) Compliance Advisory Committee. He is an active member of the CAA (Columbus Apartment Association), represents CPO nationally through NAHMA (National Affordable Housing Management Association), and is the former President of MAHMA (Midwest Affordable Housing Management Association).

Ms. Lang joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) as the EVP of Capital Markets in September 2023. In her role, Ms. Lang is responsible for enhancing investor relations, executing capital raising strategies, and fostering business development. Prior to joining OCCH, Ms. Lang was the Senior Vice President at KeyBank’s KeyCDC, responsible for raising investor equity and closing funds while managing a team of syndication professionals. She has also been an integral part of CREA’s growth, serving as their Managing Director, raising equity, and expanding the organization from a small, regional syndicator to a nationally ranked Top 5 Syndicator. Ms. Lang earned her Bachelor of Science in German and Economics from the University of Notre Dame.

Ms. Mullaney joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in December 2006 as Vice President, Finance. She is responsible for all financial accounting and reporting for Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing and affiliates. This includes quarterly investor reporting and the annual audit and tax return reviews. She also oversees the partnership cash reserves, equity payment processing and provides technical tax and accounting assistance to other departments. Prior to joining OCCH, Ms. Mullaney was the Chief Financial Officer at Community Properties of Ohio Management Services (CPO), a wholly owned subsidiary of Ohio Capital Corporation. Prior to CPO, she worked for Larry C. Stemen, CPA and Associates as an Audit Manager specializing in HUD and LIHTC audits and cost certifications. Ms. Mullaney holds her Bachelor’s Degree from Wittenberg University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Marcus Vivona joined OCCH in April 2020 and currently serves as Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy. In this role, he is responsible for developing and executing the overall strategic plan of the organization which includes all OCCH’s entities.  He works closely with Leadership and senior management to identify opportunities, set goals and develop plans for growth and expansion. Mr. Vivona formerly served OCCH as Senior Vice President, Director of Asset Management from 2021 to 2023 and Vice President of Asset and Risk Management from 2020-2021. Marcus brings over 27 years of affordable housing industry experience and has held senior-level positions in asset management, development, investor relations and originations with several prominent national for-profit and not-for-profit affordable housing organizations.  Mr. Vivona began his career in affordable housing with CohnReznick (then Reznick, Fedder and Silverman) in Bethesda, MD. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Economics from Nazareth College of Rochester and an Executive Certificate in Non-Profit Management from the University of Notre Dame – Mendoza College of Business.

Jonathan Welty, Executive Vice President, joined the Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in 2000 and serves in several different capacities within OCCH. Mr. Welty is the Investor Relations contact for OCCH where he is responsible for establishing and closing the Ohio Equity Funds as well as assisting the investors in all aspects of the due diligence and closing process. Since 2010, Mr. Welty has been President of the Ohio Capital Finance Corporation, an affiliate of OCCH, and a certified CDFI entity, where he directs the activities of the collective $140M+ of loan capital dedicated to affordable housing lending. He was instrumental in the creation, development and implementation of 5 loan funds which have provided over $700M of capital to over 675 borrowers. From 2002-2018, Mr. Welty also directed the Year 15 disposition strategies for OCCH and provided technical assistance to various partners in understanding and developing disposition plans. Prior to joining OCCH, he worked for the Banc One Community Development Corporation (nka JPMorgan Capital) where he was actively involved in the originating, underwriting and closing of equity and debt transactions. Mr. Welty serves as a Member Director on the Board of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati, as the Secretary/Treasurer and Board Member for the Community Development Collaborative of Greater Columbus, is a Trustee of the Community Shelter Board, and a member of the Columbus and Franklin County Continuum of Care and the Ohio Preservation Compact. He also serves on WesBanco’s and Key Community Development Corporation’s New Market Tax Credits Advisory Boards.

Ms. Abdella joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in May 2019 as a project coordinator and currently serves as an Asset Manager. In this capacity, she is a primary relationship manager for a portfolio of LIHTC projects, interfacing with general partners, investors, management agents and other important stakeholders. She evaluates financial information quarterly, conducts physical inspection of assets, and monitors regulatory risk to protect investors’ interests. She conducts in-depth financial analysis to identify project and portfolio trends and works with partners and stakeholders to resolve issues with any under-performing assets. Prior to joining OCCH, Ms. Abdella spent several years in bank management and as a paralegal in real estate law. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication from Miami University.

Ms. Alban joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in March of 2004 and currently serves as Administrative Assistant in the Operations and Communications Department. Ms. Alban is responsible for providing support with general administrative duties to OCCH and the Operations and Communications Department. These include clerical, receptionist and project-based work. Prior to joining OCCH, Ms. Alban performed office operations at H&M Plumbing and customer service and administrative duties at National Revenue.

Ms. Alecusan joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in January 2023 and currently serves as the Director of Grants and CDFI Compliance for Ohio Capital Finance Corporation (OCFC), the lending arm of OCCH. She is responsible for concept development, researching, writing and submission of funding opportunities and managing the compliance of funded awards. Prior to joining OCCH, Ms. Alecusan served as the Housing Strategy Lead for Ohio at CareSource where she led the development and implementation of the housing strategy for CareSource’s 1+ million Ohio Medicaid members. Previously Ms. Alecusan served as the Program and Policy Manager for the Ohio Housing Finance Agency where she oversaw the development of program policies and guidelines for the multifamily development programs administered by the office, including the Qualified Allocation Plan, gap financing guidelines, underwriting guidelines, and design and architectural standards. She has also spent time in several roles with the Ohio Department of Development and as an urban planning consultant. Ms. Alecusan received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Science in City and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and a LEED Accredited Professional.

Ms. Anderson joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing in 2017 working with the Ohio Homeowner Assistance, the fiscal agent to the Ohio Housing Finance Agency’s Hardest Hit Fund/Save the Dream program.  As Program Specialist, she assists in the recording and reporting of all aspects of the program that administers the disbursement of more than $760 million in Hardest Hit Funds.  Prior to joining OCCH full time, Ms. Anderson worked as the assistant to the Dean of Student Learning & Engagement at Baylor University in Waco, Texas where she managed numerous calendars, coordinated travel, prepared expense reports and supervised student workers. She served as the executive assistant for a real estate/developer company in the Cleveland area for more than twenty years and previously worked at Target Corporation. Ms. Anderson has lived and worked in Hawaii, New York, Massachusetts, Florida and Texas.

Mr. Bates joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in January 2022 and currently serves as Software Engineer. In this capacity, he is responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and supporting OCCH’s software solutions. Prior to joining OCCH, Mr. Bates worked fifteen years in the manufacturing industry as a Senior Programmer Analyst for Quanex Building Products, an international provider of industry-leading building components. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Muskingum College.

Mr. Boggs joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in June 2021 as a staff accountant. His responsibilities include maintaining the accounting for several equity funds and reviewing audited financial statements, cost certifications and tax returns. He is also responsible for preparing quarterly investor benefit schedules and other financial information for his respective funds. Prior to joining OCCH, Mr. Boggs was a senior audit associate at Tidwell Group. He has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Capital University.

Mr. Butler joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in January 2008 as an intern with the Acquisitions department while working on his Masters at the Ohio State University, and in June 2009, upon the completion of his Masters, joined the Finance staff in Reserves Processing. During his time as a development intern, Mr. Butler helped package and prepare LIHTC applications and Federal Home Loan Bank AHP applications. His responsibilities as the Reserves Processor included processing reserve withdrawal requests for OCCH partners and establishing and monitoring property reserve accounts with partner banks. In 2013, he joined Asset Management as a Compliance Coordinator where he tracked leasing activity and credit delivery while also monitoring regulatory compliance. In 2019, he transitioned into a role with training and development under the Asset Management Department as the e-Learning Strategist and Multimedia Designer where he produced and maintained e-learning content, created graphics for events and promotional materials, and designed the company PR blasts. He was promoted in 2022 to the LMS Platform Manager & Senior e-Learning Developer, where he is responsible for overseeing the development and sustainability of the LMS platform used by customers and subscribers of the Affordable Housing Training Academy and producing instructional materials, e-learning courses, and creative content to drive the success of the organization.  He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Bowling Green State University and a Masters in City and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University.

Ms. Cable joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in September 2022 and currently serves as the Accounts Payable Specialist. She is responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner for OCCH and affiliates. Prior to joining OCCH, Ms. Cable held multiple roles within the manufacturing, construction, and auto industries.

Ms. Carman joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) as an Asset Manager in November of 2010. In May of 2021, she was promoted to an Investor Relations Officer in the Capital Markets department. She is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with investor partners. Prior to joining OCCH, Ms. Carman worked as an Asset Manager for Enterprise in Cleveland, Ohio. Her duties included reviewing and approving annual budgets, quarterly reports, tax returns, audited financial statements, performing annual physical property inspections and random tenant file reviews. Additional experience includes working for National Equity Fund as an Asset Management Analyst in Chicago, Illinois. Ms. Carman has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University and her Masters of Business Administration from Ohio Dominican University. She is certified in Low Income Housing Tax Credit Compliance (TaCCs) and a Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) in Section 42 compliance.

Ms. Castricone joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in February 2020. She currently serves as the Closing Officer for Ohio Capital Finance Corporation (OCFC), the lending arm of OCCH. In this role, she is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of OCFC’s loan closings. From 2020-2022, Ms. Castricone was a Development Assistant OCCH, where she performed a variety of project-level and administrative tasks for multiple departments within the organization. Prior to joining OCCH, Ms. Castricone was an Assistant Manager of the Title Department of a local law firm. During this time, she obtained her Master’s in Public Administration and Policy from American University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from The Ohio State University.

Mrs. Conrad joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in November 2013 as a Reserves Accountant with the Finance Department and was promoted to Treasury Management Specialist in January 2022. Her responsibilities include managing, maintaining, and administering bank relationships, managing cash position, recommending and implementing improvements to current cash management process, preparing cash flow projections, initiating fund movements and investment transactions, and handling daily liquidity management. Mrs. Conrad has years of experience in residential mortgage lending and customer service.

Mr. Dant joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing in 2019 as an Asset Manager. In this capacity Mr. Dant serves as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of properties, is responsible for reviewing project budgets, assisting with preparation of quarterly financial reports to investors, performing physical property inspections, and reviewing compliance documentation. Prior to joining OCCH Mr. Dant spent 20 years with Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC). While at KHC Mr. Dant spent
10 years developing the company’s asset management function, three plus years in project development/funding, and the balance in other housing related functions. Mr. Dant is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Housing Asset Manager (CHAM), and a Certified Housing Development Finance Professional. Mr. Dant earned the following degrees: Bachelors of Accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University, Bachelors of Geography (minor in City and Regional Planning) from Western Kentucky University, Masters of City and Regional Planning from Western Kentucky University.

Mr. De La Rocha joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) as Senior Analyst in Capital Markets in January 2024. In his role, he is responsible for providing support to Capital Markets to assist in maintaining investor relations. He also contributes to the Construction Management team and develops analysis and reports to further OCCH’s business initiatives. Prior to joining OCCH, Mr. De La Rocha served as Investor Relations at KeyBank CDLI, where he secured funds for investment projects, maintained investor relations, and oversaw projects. Mr. De La Rocha holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Universidad Internacional De La Rioja.

Pleurat Dreshaj joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in November 2020 as an Underwriting Analyst and was promoted to Development Officer in February 2021. Prior to joining OCCH, Pleurat was the Assistant Director of Real Estate Development at CHN Housing Partners bringing more than seven years of affordable housing development experience. During his time as a developer, Pleurat gained expertise in leading multifamily new construction and rehab projects, including historic tax credits and renovation of occupied buildings, as well as a deep understanding in navigating HUD regulations, LIHTC financing structures, and many other public funding programs. Pleurat has been a member of the Ohio Bar since 2011 and worked at the Office of the Public Defender in Cuyahoga County while completing his JD at Cleveland Marshall College of Law. Pleurat also holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Case Western Reserve University.

Mr. Erdeljac joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in July 2004 as construction manager. In this capacity, he manages the design and construction phase of OCCH projects. Mr. Erdeljac reviews plans, evaluates budgets, manages change orders, ensures schedule compliance and oversees inspectors. He has more than 40 years’ experience managing construction and facility improvement projects for major corporations, including Bank One, Huntington, Red Roof Inns, Chase Mortgage and Cardinal Health. Mr. Erdeljac holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from The Ohio State University.

Mr. Evans joined Ohio Capital Corporations for Housing (OCCH) in November 2023 as an Asset Manager. His responsibilities include serving as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of LIHTC projects, interfacing with general partners, investors, management agents, and other stakeholders. He evaluates financial information quarterly, conducts physical inspections of assets, and monitors regulatory risks to protect investors’ interests. Mr. Evans conducts in-depth financial analysis to identify project and portfolio trends and collaborates with partners and stakeholders to resolve issues with underperforming assets. Prior to joining OCCH, Mr. Evans was the Director of the Ohio Semiconductor Collaboration Network, where he was responsible for advancing semiconductor education for Ohio’s 23 community colleges. He managed projects, organized collaborative meetings, and crafted strategic work plans. He also coordinated grant deliverables, emphasizing faculty development, and optimizing curriculum distribution across member colleges. Mr. Evans holds a Bachelor of Arts from The Ohio State University, an Associate of Arts from Columbus State Community College, and a Project Management Certificate from Columbus State Community College. 

Mr. Foster joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) as an Underwriter in April 2023. In his role, Mr. Foster is responsible for performing unbiased evaluations of transactions, structuring tax credit investments, and identifying associated risks and mitigating factors. Mr. Foster also provides support during OCCH’s participation in the tax credit application process and assists in the overall development process. Prior to joining OCCH, Mr. Foster served as Assistant Vice President, Associate
FHA Underwriter at ORIX Real Estate Capital, where he specialized in underwriting multifamily real estate transactions, evaluating borrower credit, and preparing detailed loan approval packages, all while building strong relationships with internal and external partners. Mr. Foster earned his Bachelor of Economics from The Ohio State University and a Master of Business Administration from Ohio Dominican University.

Ms. Gordon joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) as the Front Desk Assistant in September of 2023. Ms. Gordon is responsible for providing support with general administrative duties to OCCH and the Operations and Communications Department. These include shipping needs, building maintenance issues, supply orders, meeting support, and opening and processing mail. Prior to joining OCCH, Ms. Gordon served as a human service professional with over 15 years of experience in the field of corrections and rehabilitation. Ms. Gordon is a certified life coach currently operating her business, “Vision into Fruition,” which is dedicated to helping individuals succeed. She also holds a license as an Insurance Broker and dedicates her efforts educating members of the seniors in her community.

Mrs. Goss serves as a liaison for client engagement within the Training Academy, assisting clients with platform on-boarding and managing the LMS platform. Prior to this, Mrs. Goss held various positions within the Asset Management Department – from Compliance Coordinator to Asset Manager, and a role as a Data Analyst utilizing Tableau. Before joining OCCH in 2005, Mrs. Goss served as the Contract Administrator for MAHMA (Midwest Affordable Housing Management Association). Mrs. Goss has a Bachelor of Science with a dual major in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship from Franklin University. She is a Housing Credit Certified Professional through the National Association of Home Builders, a Specialist in Housing Credit Management through the National Affordable Housing Management Association, Asset Management Specialist through NeighborWorks America, and a Tableau Qualified Associate.

Mr. Gupta joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) as a Development Officer in May of 2024. In his role, Mr. Gupta is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with developers, structuring and securing feasible LIHTC partnership opportunities, overseeing, and collecting due diligence for deals and supporting the underwriting and closing process. Prior to joining OCCH, Mr. Gupta held the position of Senior Financial Analyst at the National Affordable Housing Trust, reporting to Originations and later the Capital Markets Team; where he specialized in financial structuring and analysis; including risk assessment on deals, drafting and negotiating LOI’s and supporting investor underwriting teams with closings as needed. Mr. Gupta holds a Bachelor of Arts from The Ohio State University.

Ms. Haddan joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in April 2024 as an Asset Manager. Her responsibilities include serving as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of LIHTC projects, interfacing with general partners, investors, management agents, and other stakeholders. She evaluates financial information quarterly, conducts physical inspections of assets, and monitors regulatory risks to protect investors’ interests. Ms. Haddan conducts in-depth financial analysis to identify project and portfolio trends and collaborates with partners and stakeholders to resolve issues with underperforming assets. Prior to joining OCCH, Ms. Haddan served as an Asset Manager at Huber Equity Group, where she worked in collaboration with project managers to position assets for sale, achieving significant returns. Ms. Haddan managed lease renewals to maintain strong rates, analyzed financial outcomes, and developed standard procedures for operations and reporting. With over a decade of experience in the affordable housing industry, Ms. Haddan has held several key positions, including regional manager roles at Woda Cooper Companies and The NRP Group, as well as a property manager position at Foresite Realty Partners.

Mr. Harris joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in June 2021 and currently serves as Manager of IT. In this capacity, he is responsible for the strategic direction, service delivery, support, and managing cost of OCCH’s Technology Operations. Prior to joining OCCH, Mr. Harris had worked for the City of Upper Arlington as the Information Technology Director, IBM as a Systems Services Manager, and a Regional Manager of IT for Columbia Gas. Mr. Harris has 25 years of experience in the IT industry with a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from DeVry and a master’s degree in business administration from Franklin University. Mr. Harris has certifications from the National Association for Radio, Telecommunications and Engineers, Certified Government Chief Information Officer Program, and the ITIL Foundation.

Mr. Heady joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in November 2018. He serves as Fund Accounting Manager. He oversees the financial accounting of the Ohio Equity Funds, the production of the quarterly benefit schedules, and the yearly review of audited financial statements and tax returns. He has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, and Marketing from Muskingum University.

Mr. Hennessee joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing in January 2017 as Systems Administrator. In this position, he is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the organization’s technical infrastructure, with a specific focus on managing Office 365. He manages the daily operations of the Helpdesk, ensuring that the organization’s technical needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. He is responsible for the administration, maintenance, security and troubleshooting of the Office 365 environment, such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams. Prior to joining OCCH full time, he served as an Information Technology consultant for OCCH and Service Desk Support with various other organizations such as Nationwide Insurance and Ashland Inc, bringing with him a wealth of experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting software and hardware issues.

Ms. Hinkle joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in June 2015. Her responsibilities include the preparation of quarterly investor reports and the review of annual audit and tax returns for entities contained in each fund. Prior to joining OCCH, Ms. Hinkle was an audit manager at Clark, Schaefer, Hackett. Ms. Hinkle specialized in RD and LIHTC audits and also reviewed carryover and cost certifications. Ms. Hinkle holds her Bachelor’s Degree from Ohio Wesleyan University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Eric Klipfer joined Ohio Capital in January 2021 as Senior Vice President of Capital Markets. Eric comes to OCCH from RBC Community Investments, LLC where he served as Vice President of Alternative Products. In this position, he was responsible for leading efforts of RBC’s new markets tax credits, state tax credit and historic tax credits. In addition, Eric reviewed LIHTC underwriting models and prepared upper-tier benefit schedules for investors. Eric joined RBC in 2007 and his background includes public accounting and extensive tax credit experience. He brings financial, tax and accounting expertise. Eric has a BS in Accounting from Franklin University.

Mr. Kramarius joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) as an Underwriter in May 2023. In his role, Mr. Kramarius is responsible for preforming unbiased evaluations of transactions, structuring tax credit investments, and identifying associated risks and mitigating factors. Mr. Kramarius also provides support during OCCH’s participation in the tax credit application process and assists in the overall development process. Prior to joining OCCH, Mr. Kramarius served as a Securities-Based Lender at J.P. Morgan & Chase Co., where he was responsible for underwriting and structuring portfolio lines of credit and margin loans. With over seven years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Mr. Kramarius has contributed to various facets of the field, including roles as a Commercial Real Estate Agent with a national brokerage firm and a local developer. Greg earned his Bachelor of Arts in Real Estate Studies and holds an Ohio Real Estate License.

Anya Kulcsar joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in May 2023 as an Underwriter. In this role, she provides technical support and financial analysis for projects utilizing the Low-Income Tax Credit Program (LIHTC).  Anya brings ten years of experience in asset management and real estate development through her prior role as Chief of Real Estate for Northwest Neighborhoods CDC, a non-profit developer, owner, and manager of affordable housing. As a developer, she led multifamily and mixed-use projects from concept to construction completion utilizing LIHTC, historic tax credits, and other gap financing programs. Anya currently serves on the Max Housing Board of Directors.  She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Architecture from Kent State University and certification as a Housing Development Finance Professional from the National Development Council.

Mr. Ledwin joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) as an Asset Manager in 2007, and promoted to Senior Asset Manager in 2018. In this position, Mr. Ledwin is responsible for reviewing project budgets, assisting with the preparation of quarterly financial reports to investors, performing physical property inspections, and reviewing compliance documentation. His professional designations include Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP), Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM), certified Fair Housing Coordinator through NAHMA, RD S.T.A.R., and Certified Housing Asset Manager (CHAM) through NeighborWorks America. Mr. Ledwin holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Xavier University in International Affairs, and a Masters of Community Planning from the University of Cincinnati.

Mr. Lewis joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in March 2005 as an Asset Manager. Two years later, he was named the Director of Construction Management. As Director of Construction Management, he is responsible for managing all aspects of the Construction Management Department including the contracting, oversight, training, and coordination of over 30 consulting architectural firms who perform third-party construction monitoring services in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Mr. Lewis’ responsibilities include construction risk mitigation, the development of departmental policies and procedures, construction standards, construction monitoring processes, issue tracking and resolution, reviewing plans during the application and development stages, reviewing contracts as part of the closing process, managing third-party service contracts, evaluating budgets, reviewing draws and change orders, ensuring schedule and budgetary compliance, and assisting Asset Management and Partners in resolving construction and capital needs issues. Before joining OCCH, Mr. Lewis served as the Director of Property Assets at National Church Residences, and prior to that position as Portfolio Director over 94 properties with National Church Residences. Mr. Lewis, an Upper Arlington resident, is a past president of the Upper Arlington Civic Association. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and History from Bethany College, and is certified as a Housing Credit Certification Professional (HCCP) in Section 42 compliance and a Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM).

Ms. Lisath joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) as the Administrative Specialist in July 2023. In her role, Ms. Lisath is responsible for managing administrative projects, supporting various departments within OCCH, and providing a high level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Ms. Lisath also works closely with various departments to complete tasks, manage projects, and support the organization’s needs. Prior to joining OCCH, Ms. Lisath served as a Human Resource manager, managing technical training, compliance, recruitment, employee development, and benefits programs for staff. She also provided guidance to executive leadership on employee issues and updated training processes. Ms. Lisath earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Ohio University.

Beth joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in 2001 as a graduate student intern and was hired full-time as a Development Analyst in 2002. Now as Vice President of Development, she provides financial structuring services, underwriting analysis and technical assistance to government, non-profit and for-profit partners utilizing the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program. Beth has experience underwriting and structuring a variety of project types, including family, senior and special needs properties in rural, urban and suburban areas of Ohio and surrounding states. Over the last ten years, she has become an expert in structuring and underwriting Permanent Supportive Housing developments to best serve vulnerable populations. In addition, Beth has experience working with projects utilizing HUD secured financing, Rural Development programs, tax-exempt bond financing and other gap financing programs. She serves on the Ohio Community Development Corporation Association (Ohio CDC) Board of Directors and is an active volunteer with several local service agencies. Beth has a Master’s Degree in City and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Philosophy from the Western College Program at Miami University.

Mr. Malpass joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in February 2023 as a Construction Coordinator in the OCCH Construction Management department. Kevin assists in the management of the design and construction phases of new construction and rehabilitation projects. Mr. Malpass reviews plans for technical and agency compliance, evaluates budgets and schedules, manages change orders, and oversees inspectors. Prior to joining OCCH, Kevin was a Development Risk Manager of LIHTC projects for the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). Overall, he has more than 25 years’ experience in architecture, construction, real estate due diligence, and LIHTC construction with organizations including CBRE, EBI Consulting, and the Vitetta Group Architects. Mr. Malpass holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Notre Dame.

Hilary Marshall is the Director of Communication, Operations, and Events at Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH), where she is responsible for OCCH’s communications strategy, operational support, and event functions. Having built a career in Commercial Real Estate, she has worked for both privately held companies and publicly traded REITs, giving her exposure and experience in multiple asset types and classes. Prior to joining OCCH, Hilary worked for Coastal Ridge, a private equity owner and operator of market rate conventional and student housing properties. At Coastal Ridge, she led corporate marketing and communications, as well as strategic initiatives. A graduate of The Ohio State University, she serves on the Ambassador’s Council for Nationwide Children’s Hospital, has participated in Pelotonia as a rider or volunteer since 2013, and was previously on the planning committee for the Columbus Museum of Art’s annual Wonderball fundraiser.

Ms. Mayer joined Ohio Capital Corporations for Housing (OCCH) in April 2024 as Corporate Attorney. Her responsibilities include providing legal support to each of the internal departments and supporting the equity investment closing process. Prior to joining OCCH, Ms. Mayer served as an attorney at Barnes & Thornburg, where she assisted syndicators in achieving their real estate development and investment objectives, focusing on Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) transactions and economic development projects. Ms. Mayer has served as an Army officer since 2008 and remains active in the U.S. Army Reserves as an interagency liaison for the Joint Task Force-National Capital Region. Ms. Mayer graduated from George Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and holds a Juris Doctorate from The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law.

Sam Merkle joined Ohio Capital in May of 2023 as Senior Vice President of Asset Management.  Sam comes to OCCH from National Affordable Housing Trust, where he served as Senior Vice President of Fund and Asset Management.  In this position, he was responsible for leading the team which managed the NAHT portfolio of LIHTC investments throughout it’s 35 state footprint from closing through disposition.

Sam joined NAHT in 2016 and has been in the affordable housing industry since 2000.  His background includes mortgage finance, brokerage, appraisal, investor relations, development, property management, and underwriting.  Sam graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. 

Isabella Moreno joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) as the Construction Administrative Assistant in January 2023. She is responsible for a variety of project-level and administrative tasks within OCCH. Ms. Moreno holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from The Ohio State University, where she also received the opportunity to study in the United Kingdom and China. Prior to OCCH, Ms. Moreno served as a Customer Service Manager and Executive Assistant at Five Star Home Services. She provided support in areas such as business analytics, professional writing, communications, administration, and management.

Mr. Murphy joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in 2019 as Vice President of Community Development Lending and currently serves as Vice President at Ohio Finance Capital Corporation (OCFC), the CDFI lending arm of the OCCH. He is responsible for helping to oversee OCFC’s lending process, including loan origination, pricing, underwriting, assisting with raising capital, and managing OCFC’s various neighborhood development initiatives. Working collaboratively, these efforts help advance OCFC’s goal of providing flexible capital for the expansion and preservation of affordable housing and community development.  Prior to joining OCCH, Mr. Murphy served for over six years at the Affordable Housing Trust for Columbus and Franklin County (AHT) and the Community Development Collaborative of Greater Columbus (Collaborative). During his tenure, he served as both Loan Manager for AHT and Program Manager for the Collaborative. As Loan Manager, his roles included origination, underwriting, loan servicing and portfolio management.  As Program Manager, he administered the capacity building grant program and provided technical assistance to Community Development Corporations. Mr. Murphy received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science (Public Administration) from the Ohio University, served as an AmeriCorps Member, and is a certified Housing Development Finance Professional through the National Development Council.

Tiffany Patterson joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in July 2021 as the Grants Manager. In this role, she is responsible for philanthropic programs and providing grant-related support to partners through the organization’s philanthropic arm, Ohio Capital Impact Corporation. Additionally, Tiffany measures grant outcomes and stewards relationships to further advance impact for resident services. Prior to joining OCCH, Tiffany served as the Grants Manager at the Ohio State Bar Foundation, where she exclusively managed the grantmaking portfolio and database, administration processes, and impact reporting for legal education and justice related grant initiatives. She is a member of PEAK Grantmaking, the Grant Professionals Association and Columbus Young Professionals (CYP). Tiffany is passionate about helping others and volunteers her time to coaching youth sports animal welfare rescues and various efforts through CYP.

Ms. Perron joined Ohio Capital Corporations for Housing (OCCH) in April 2024 as an Asset Manager. Her responsibilities include serving as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of LIHTC projects, interfacing with general partners, investors, management agents, and other stakeholders. She evaluates financial information quarterly, conducts physical inspections of assets, and monitors regulatory risks to protect investors’ interests. Ms. Perron conducts in-depth financial analysis to identify project and portfolio trends and collaborates with partners and stakeholders to resolve issues with underperforming assets. Prior to joining OCCH, Ms. Perron served as an Operations Coordinator and Corporate Trainer at Ardent Communities. In this capacity, she developed and implemented the comprehensive new hire structure and training program and facilitated training sessions tailored for both new employees and managerial staff. Additionally, Ms. Perron assisted with legal and insurance matters.

Joyce Perry is the Director of Human Resources for Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing. She is responsible for developing strategies and providing advice on all talent and culture matters. She drives HR initiatives to foster a positive, high-performance work environment in support of OCCH’s goals. She comes to OCCH with a twenty-year history in HR, spanning industries ranging from healthcare and technology, to real estate and affordable housing. Joyce is a Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR certified), SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP certified), and a Change Management Specialist (Prosci certified). She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from California State University.

Joyce is an active member of SHRM (Society for Human Resources Management), HRACO (Human Resources Association of Ohio), CCODN (Capital City Organizational Development Network), and ACMP (Association of Change Management Professionals). She is passionate about her community, volunteering for the Mid-Ohio Food Bank, Franklin County Humane Society, and Per Scholas’ Workforce Readiness Program.

Mr. Prince joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in April 2019 as a Corporate Staff Accountant. His responsibilities include performing account reconciliations, posting journal entries, and assisting in month end close for corporate entities. He has more than 20 years’ experience in mortgage servicing and most recently worked as an Investor Reporting and Accounting manager at Huntington National Bank and as a Senior Accountant in Operations at Nationwide Bank. Mr. Prince has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Franklin University.

Ms. Rausch joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in 2007 and currently serves as an Asset Manager. In this capacity Ms. Rausch is responsible for reviewing project budgets, assisting with the preparation of quarterly financial reports to investors, performing physical property inspections, and reviewing compliance documentation. Prior to joining OCCH, Ms. Rausch managed human resource functions at both The Ohio State University and the University of Minnesota. Additional experience includes several years managing a consumer loan collection department at a major financial institution. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. Ms. Rausch is a Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) in Section 42 compliance, a Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM), and a Certified Housing Asset Manager (CHAM).

Mrs. Reeves joined OCCH as a Human Resources Generalist in February 2022. She is responsible for completing a variety of tasks that support the operations of the Human Resources department. Specifically, focusing on the corporate culture and work environment, assisting with hiring practices, and onboarding employees, and maintaining and ensuring policies and procedures are current and compliant. She has a bachelor’s degree in human resources management from Kent State University and a diversity, equity and inclusion certificate from the University of South Florida.

Mr. Robeson joined OCCH in 2022 as a Software Engineer. Previously, he worked for six years as a Software Developer at Continental Message Solutions, where he designed and maintained communications software. Michael will be part of a team of engineers that build and maintain OCCH’s proprietary software, keeping it complaint with the organizations business requirements. He received his degree in Computer Science from DeVry University in 2016.

Ms. Robinson joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) as an intern in January 2022, transitioned to a Project Specialist in July 2022 and was promoted to Communications Manager in January 2023.  Ms. Robinson’s responsibilities include planning, developing, implementing, and managing the content and strategies for the social media accounts of OCCH and its affiliates/subsidiaries. She is responsible for managing other aspects of internal and external communications while advancing OCCH’s brand and strengthening advocacy for affordable housing awareness. Further responsibilities include strategizing effective methods and managing partners’ funding initiatives through OCCH’s philanthropic arm, Ohio Capital Impact Corporation (OCIC). Prior to joining OCCH, Ms. Robinson served as a Community Assistant for Edwards Companies, where she implemented marketing and community – based initiatives to increase profits, leased luxury apartments, and coordinated content creation. Ms. Robinson holds a Bachelor of Science in City and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University, graduating in 2021. While at The Ohio State University, she also earned a minor in Theater with a specialized focus in scenic and architectural design.

Ms. Rodgers joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in 1996 and serves as the Payroll/Employee Benefits Manager and Executive Administrator to the Board.  In this capacity, she is responsible for payroll and employee benefits administration and also serves as the administrator for the Board of Directors of OCCH and its subsidiary corporations. Ms. Rodgers previously worked as an Office Administrator for Scruggs and Hammond, Inc. and, prior to 1990, she was employed at KeyBank in a variety of positions including cash management, commercial lending, accounting, and consumer lending.

Annie joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in October of 2013 as an intern with the Development Department and was promoted to Development Analyst, Senior Development Analyst, and then to her current position as Vice President, Development. In this role, she provides relationship management and technical assistance for OCCH developer partners who utilize the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program to develop affordable housing. She assists with structuring financing, underwriting and deal analysis, project management, and internal approvals. Annie has experience working across multiple states in a variety of tax credit developments. She also works with the Ohio Capital Impact Corporation (OCIC), OCCH’s philanthropic arm, as Director of Scholarship Programs. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Northern Kentucky University and a Master of Public Administration from the John Glenn College of Public Affairs at The Ohio State University. 

Ms. Samuel joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in August 2013 and was promoted to Equity Specialist in 2019. In this position she handles all facets of obtaining, reviewing and tracking equity payments made to operating companies. She interacts with development partners and other third parties to coordinate and ensure contract compliance. She is a Housing Credit Certified Professional through the National Association of Home Builders and a Specialist in Housing Credit Management through the National Affordable Housing Management Association. Prior to joining OCCH, Ms. Samuel worked as a Marketing and Administrative Assistant for Continental Realty. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Otterbein College.

Mr. Scheuer joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) as Vice President, Capital Markets in January 2024. In his role, he is responsible for the oversight and management of OCCH’s proprietary and multi-funds, including ownership of the investment fund models. Additionally, he helps OCCH build and maintain relationships with investor clients. Prior to joining OCCH, Mr. Scheuer served as Vice President in fund management at RBC Community Investments, where he led successful investment strategies. Mr. Scheuer holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with a Major in Accounting from Miami University.

Mr. Schmitt joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) as an Underwriting Analyst in February 2020. In this role, he provides technical support and underwriting of affordable housing developments in the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. Prior to joining OCCH, Mr. Schmitt was an Associate Project Manager at SB Friedman Development Advisors, a development advisory consultant based in Chicago. In this role he provided analytical and technical expertise across SB Friedman’s portfolio of development advisory services including housing policy, financial gap, and fiscal impact analyses; tax increment financing; and comprehensive planning services to both public and private sector clients. Prior to his work at SB Friedman, Mr. Schmitt was the Research and Policy Analyst at the Institute for Housing Studies (IHS) at DePaul University, where he provided research and policy analysis and technical assistance to IHS and its non-profit partners and clients. Mr. Schmitt holds a Master’s of Urban Planning and Policy degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelor’s of Urban Planning degree from the University of Cincinnati.

Ms. Shapiro joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in 2000 and is OCCH’s Director of Compliance and Training. Ms. Shapiro has specialized experience in compliance with Section 42, HOME, Fair Housing and Section 504, and HUD Section 8 regulations. She provides compliance and fair housing training to OCCH partners as well as industry associations and is active with the Ohio Housing Finance Agency Compliance Advisory Committee and the Midwest Affordable Housing Management Association. In May of 2004, she joined the Housing Credit Certified Professional Board of Governors as a Technical Advisor. In addition to providing compliance oversight, Ms. Shapiro directs the OCCH Training Academy which provides compliance and property management training to over 2000 participants each year. Ms. Shapiro is certified as an Assisted Housing Manager, Fair Housing Specialist, National Affordable Housing Professional Executive, HOME Program Regulations Specialist, Certified HOME Program Specialist – Rental Housing Compliance, Specialist in Housing Credit Management, Blended Occupancy Management Specialist, and Housing Credit Certified Professional. She also holds a Master of Arts in Public Administration from The Ohio State University.

Mr. Shelby joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in January 2002 as a staff accountant and currently serves as an Asset Manager. His responsibilities include serving as a primary relationship manager for a portfolio of LIHTC projects, interfacing with general partners, investors, management agents and other important stakeholders. He evaluates financial information quarterly, conducts physical inspection of assets, and monitors regulatory risk to protect investors’ interests. Mr. Shelby conducts in-depth financial analysis to identify project and portfolio trends and works with partners and stakeholders to resolve issues with any under-performing assets. Prior to 2002, Mr. Shelby was a Financial Manager for National Church Residences where he was responsible for project budgeting, the capital expenditure approval process, group purchasing, and due diligence/analysis of new acquisitions. Mr. Shelby has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Capital University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Louisville. Mr. Shelby is a Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) in Section 42 compliance. And a Certified Housing Asset Manager (CHAM).

Ms. Sheriff joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in May 2020 as an Accounting Coordinator with the Finance Department and was promoted to Fund Accounting Analyst in 2021. She is responsible for maintaining the accounting for specified equity funds and preparing quarterly financial information. In addition to these responsibilities, she also supports the Fund Accountants. Prior to joining OCCH, she worked in the hospitality industry, overseeing the service management and the accounting aspect of The Cube Restaurant. She is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin.

Ms. Snyder has over 20 years of experience with Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) and is the Manager of Corporate Events and Conferences.  She routinely interfaces with the senior leaders (at OCCH and beyond) in coordinating and planning events to ensure corporate objectives are met through the careful execution of conferences and corporate events.  She is responsible for planning and managing national and state-wide events and conferences (including the Ohio Housing Conference) where she negotiates contracts and interfaces with vendors, manages budgets and organizes staff during events.  She assists OCCH’s partners with planning their groundbreaking and grand opening housing events. OCCH is an independent, mission-driven nonprofit organization based in Columbus, Ohio whose mission is to cause the creation and rehabilitation of affordable housing. Prior to joining OCCH, Ms. Snyder served as Office Manager for VOCA Corporation.

Mr. Steenrod joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in July 2022 as a fund accountant. His responsibilities include maintaining the accounting for several equity funds and reviewing audited financial statements, cost certifications and tax returns. He is also responsible for preparing quarterly investor benefit schedules and other financial information for his respective funds. Prior to joining OCCH, Mr. Steenrod was a senior accountant at Novogradac & Company specializing in LIHTC, HUD and RD audits, tax returns and cost certifications. Mr. Steenrod has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Otterbein University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mrs. Stickel joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in April 2020 and currently serves as the Operations/Portfolio Administrator for Ohio Capital Finance Corporation (OCFC), the lending arm of OCCH. She is responsible for overseeing the OCFC loan portfolio including fund disbursement and construction draw administration. Mrs. Stickel works collaboratively with the OCFC team in regard to the affordable housing and community development lending platform. Functioning collaboratively, Mrs. Stickel assists in evaluating lending risks while developing solutions to finance, underwriting, and closing issues. In addition, she assists with coordination and execution of the lending process with all stakeholders (project sponsors, investors, attorneys, 3rd party consultants, internal staff as well as state and local jurisdictions) to help transform neighborhoods. Prior to joining OCCH, Mrs. Stickel spent several years as the Equity Administrator for The National Affordable Housing Trust (NAHT). Previously Mrs. Stickel enjoyed a long career in retail lending as both an Underwriter and Operations Manager. Mrs. Stickel is a Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM).

Mr. Teran joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing in 2014 as a Vice President of Fund Management. After, he assumed the role of Vice President at Ohio Capital Finance Corporation (OCFC), the lending arm of the Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing, where he was instrumental in securing multiple CMF awards and in the creation of the South Side Renaissance Fund to expand affordable housing in Columbus. More recently, he was promoted to the role of Vice President of Dispositions. His responsibilities include managing the dispositions platform at OCCH, negotiating the disposition of assets at the end of the compliance period, and unwinding the investment funds. Prior to joining OCCH, Mr. Teran worked in finance, economic development, and real estate for many years for institutions such as JPMorgan Chase, and Wachovia in the New York, and South Florida markets. Since relocating to Central Ohio, Mr. Teran has worked in roles focused on commercial lending, economic development, capital markets, real estate development, and asset management. Mr. Teran earned his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Florida International University. He also holds a Master’s Degree in City and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University, where he focused on real estate and economic development, and a Master’s in Business Administration from The Ohio State University, where he focused on finance and real estate.

Ms. Thelen joined OCCH in October 2011 and serves as the Reserves Specialist by processing reserve withdrawal requests for OCCH partners and monitoring operating, replacement, pledged, and lease-up accounts. She also serves as Program Manager for the Ohio Homeowner Assistance II (OHA II), a subsidiary of OCCH. In her position, Ms. Thelen administers the disbursement of more than $280 million in The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 Funds. These funds were awarded by the U.S. Treasury to the Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) to help address mortgage delinquencies and prevent foreclosures in Ohio due to COVID-19.

Mr. Tynan joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in 2012 and currently serves as Senior Asset Manager. In this capacity, Mr. Tynan ensures regulatory compliance and monitors overall property performance, including auditing financial reports, performing physical property inspections, and reviewing tenant files. Prior to joining OCCH, Mr. Tynan performed market and valuation analysis for low-income housing tax credit properties for Novogradac & Company. Mr. Tynan was a data administrator at Action for Children where he managed the billing process for the Early Learning Initiatives Program. Mr. Tynan received his Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Ohio University and his Master’s Degree in Sport Management from the University of Massachusetts. Mr. Tynan holds the following designations: Certified Property Manager® (CPM), Certified Housing Asset Manager (CHAM), and Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP). He serves as President Elect for the IREM Columbus Chapter, and he also serves on several national advisory boards for IREM.

Mr. Wemer joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in August 2022 as the Corporate Accounting Manager. He is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of OCCH and Ohio Capital Impact Corporation’s financial statements. He has over 15 years’ property management experience including 8 years with tax credit properties. Mr. Wemer has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from The Ohio State University.

Mr. Wilbur joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) in April 2019, and currently serves as an Underwriter. He analyzes the feasibility of potential tax credit projects to ensure their viability for investors, in addition to assisting our development partners in submitting their tax credit applications. Mr. Wilbur has worked in both the private and public sectors, coming to OCCH from Hocking Athens Perry Community Action, where he worked with youth in the workforce development and employment services areas. He stays involved in the community, actively serving on the board of directors for organizations like Ethiopian Tewahedo Social Services (ETSS), Rural Action, the Parsons Avenue Redevelopment Commission (PARC), and Horizon Prison Initiative (HPI). He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, Economics, & History, as well as a Master’s of Business Administration from Ohio University.

Mr. Yates joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) as an Asset Manager September 2023. In his role, Mr. Yates functions as the principal liaison for a portfolio of LIHTC projects, engaging with general partners, investors, management agents, and other vital stakeholders. His responsibilities encompass the quarterly assessment of financial data, physical asset inspections, and ongoing surveillance of regulatory compliance to safeguard the interests of investors. Additionally, Mr. Yates conducts in-depth financial analyses to identify project and portfolio-trends and collaborates with partners and stakeholders to address performance issues within the portfolio. Mr. Yates boasts over two decades of experience within the LIHTC sector, with a significant focus on asset management. Prior to joining OCCH, Mr. Yates spent eleven years working for an owner/operator specializing in affordable housing, and ten years working for a tax credit syndicator where he held various positions including Senior Asset Manager and Director, Financial Operations. Mr. Yates is a Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) and holds a bachelor’s degree in real estate from Kent State University.
