Greater Columbus Community Helping Hands

“Stepping off to College” Graduation Ceremony

Students from the Central Ohio community celebrated the achievements of their senior year recently as they prepared to “step off” to college in the fall. Greater Columbus Community Helping Hands (GCCHH) serves as a resource for students, providing training and support surrounding financial literacy and student aide, college life, college application process, mentoring, networking, leadership programs, and business etiquette. The students thanked GCCHH for their previous leadership and guidance, assisting them with skills necessary for the next chapter in their lives. With great optimism for the future, students spoke about their aspirations for meaningful careers in nursing, engineering, early childhood education, social work, criminology, finance, and the medical field. OCCH is a proud partner of GCCHH and helped 40 students prepare for their college careers by providing laptops to these future scholars.

Greater Columbus Community Helping Hands Inc. is committed to service, programs, and activities which enhance youth educational opportunities and self-esteem. For more information on GCCHH, visit www.gcchh.net.
