Fairfax Intergenerational Housing
Fairfax Intergenerational Housing, located in Cleveland, Ohio, made updates to the Cuyahoga Metropolitan on-site mobile library, including bean bag chairs and an outdoor sport equipment program, where residents can sign out items, like balls, jump ropes, hula hoops, frisbees and more to increase physical activity and explore the outdoors.

 

Marsh Brook Place
Residents at Marsh Brook Place in Columbus, Ohio were provided direct assistance in the form of gift cards to multiple retailers and health & wellness equipment. Gift cards gave each resident the opportunity to identify their current needs and prioritize which assistance suited them best. Fitness equipment purchased included hula hoops, jump ropes, dumbbell sets, resistance bands, medicine balls and basketball nets for the outdoor hoop. Residents appreciate having options and opportunities for financial independence and tools for physical health.

General Franklin, located in Dayton, Ohio, hosted a picnic in the fall as a chance for residents to enjoy nature, have food, and see their neighbors, family, and friends while utilizing their new picnic tables and grill.

The Manse Apartments in Cincinnati, Ohio installed security related hardware to enhance residents’ safety and security for comfortable living.

 

Pearl House Lancaster
At Pearl House Lancaster, exercise equipment was purchased for residential community space to boost health and fitness activities. Equipment included two treadmills, an elliptical, a rowing machine, power bands, and stability ball to empower residents and promote an active lifestyle.

Ransdell Living and Learning Center
Ransdell Living and Learning Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky provided outdoor beautification updates for privacy and expanding uses of shared space. These updates included the addition of privacy fencing, purchase of a grill, and planter boxes to grow plants and vegetables in spring 2023.

 

Santee Landing
At Santee Landing in Wadsworth, Ohio, benches were added to the walking path, so residents can have a place to rest and enjoy views of the pond and natural wooded areas.
