Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing announces the opportunity for partners to apply for grants to help send residents of affordable housing communities to summer camp. Over the years, OCCH has helped send thousands of children to camps throughout Ohio and Kentucky, providing opportunities for them to learn, build meaningful relationships, develop skills, and nurture their independence and confidence. Last year alone, through its subsidiary Ohio Capital Impact Corporation, OCCH invested half a million dollars to impact over 1,000 children. The summer camp programs are supported by Fifth Third Community Development Corporation and Huntington Community Development Corporation. The competitive grants should come from owners or other partners of properties in which OCCH has made an investment.
