Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) and After School All Stars

Providing education, wellness, and recreational opportunities at Summer Camps

Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) partners with After School All Stars, a nonprofit organization that provides free, comprehensive after-school programs that keep children safe and help them succeed in school and life. CMHA and After School All Stars teamed up this summer to provide summer camp programming for youth residents at Indian Meadows, Post Oak Station, Rosewind, and Sawyer Trevitt.

Recently, Ohio Capital Impact Corporation (OCIC) conducted a summer camp site visit at Sawyer Trevitt with CMHA’s leadership team and resident services staff. OCIC is pleased with the summer camp programming for the youth that provides meals, academic enrichment programming, including reading proficiency and individualized social-emotional learning, STEM, traditional recreational camp activities, and field trips. OCIC is grateful for the opportunity to partner with an exceptional organization like CMHA who is committed to serving youth residents and families in an impactful way.
