OCCH is pleased to announce recent Staff Promotions

 

Sue Ziegler, former COO, is the new OCCH Chief of Staff

Sue joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing in September 1998 as the Controller and currently serves as Chief of Staff. Her past positions with OCCH include Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. As Chief of Staff, she is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the organization and the coordination of department functions.  Sue also leads the Finance, Operations and Communications and IT Departments, and specifically in the Finance area, she is responsible for the corporate accounting of Ohio Capital Corporation. She also oversees the Ohio Homeowner Assistance LLC, which serves as the fiscal agent for the State’s Restoring Stability Program. Prior to joining OCCH, Sue was the Chief Financial Officer at Columbus Housing Partnership (CHP), a non-profit affordable housing developer.  Prior to CHP, she worked for a Colorado based investor/management company with properties in Columbus, Ohio.  Sue has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University.

 

 

 

Jennifer Mullaney has been promoted to Controller

Jennifer joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing in December 2006 as Vice President, Finance.  She is responsible for all financial accounting and reporting for Ohio Capital Finance Corporation and its affiliates, the Ohio Equity Funds and Ohio Capital Impact Corporation.  This includes quarterly investor reporting and the annual audit and tax return reviews.  She also oversees the partnership cash reserves and provides technical tax and accounting assistance to other departments. Prior to joining OCCH, Jennifer was the Chief Financial Officer at Community Properties of Ohio Management Services (CPO), a wholly owned subsidiary of Ohio Capital Corporation.  Prior to CPO, she worked for Larry C. Stemen, CPA and Associates as an Audit Manager specializing in HUD and LIHTC audits and cost certifications.  Jennifer holds her Bachelor’s Degree from Wittenberg University and is a Certified Public Accountant. 

 

 

 

Beth Long has been promoted to Vice President of Development

Beth joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing in 2001.  She provides ongoing programmatic, underwriting and technical assistance to development partners and specializes in working with the OCCH Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) portfolio.  Prior to joining OCCH, Beth spent several years with a public relations and marketing firm.  Beth has a Master’s Degree in City and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Miami University.  She serves on the executive committee of the Ohio Community Development Corporation Association Board of Directors, and serves as an At-Large Member on the Balance of State Continuum of Care Board of Directors.

 

 

 

Brad Carman has been promoted to Vice President of Development

Brad joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing in February 2010 as a Development Analyst and served as Senior Development Analyst until his promotion to Vice President. Prior to joining OCCH, Brad worked for the Ohio Treasurer of State in the Office of Debt Management as a Senior Financial Analyst. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Ohio State University and a Master of Business Administration from Ohio.

 

 

 

Chris Ledwin has been promoted to Senior Asset Manager

Chris joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing in 2007 and is responsible for reviewing project budgets, assisting with the preparation of quarterly financial reports to investors, performing physical property inspections, and reviewing compliance documentation. His professional designations include Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP), Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM), certified Fair Housing Coordinator through NAHMA, RD S.T.A.R., and Certified Housing Asset Manager (CHAM) through NeighborWorks America.  He is an active member of the Columbus Chapter of IREM (Institute of Real Estate Management) and is on the Jimmy Heath House Advisory Board in Cincinnati.  Chris holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Xavier University in International Affairs, and a Masters of Community Planning from the University of Cincinnati.

 

 

 
OCCH is pleased to announce a recent Staff Addition

Mackenzie Rawlings, Staff Accountant

Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing is pleased to announce the hiring of Mackenzie Rawlings, Staff Accountant. Mackenzie joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing in May 2017 as a finance intern. She then transitioned to a Staff Accountant. Her responsibilities include maintaining the accounting for several equity funds along with audit and tax return reviews. She is also responsible for preparing quarterly investor benefit schedules and other financial information for her respective funds. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from The Ohio State University. Welcome Mackenzie!
