OCCH is Proud to Recognize the Following New Hires:
New Hires (July 2022-January 2023)

Diane Alecusan
Diane Alecusan, Director of Grants and CDFI Compliance, OCFC

Ms. Alecusan joined OCCH in January 2023 and currently serves as the Director of Grants and CDFI Compliance for Ohio Capital Finance Corporation (OCFC), the lending arm of OCCH. She is responsible for concept development, researching, writing and submission of funding opportunities and managing the compliance of funded awards. Prior to joining OCCH, Ms. Alecusan served as the Housing Strategy Lead for Ohio at CareSource where she led the development and implementation of the housing strategy for CareSource’s 1+ million Ohio Medicaid members. Previously Ms. Alecusan served as the Program and Policy Manager for the Ohio Housing Finance Agency where she oversaw the development of program policies and guidelines for the multifamily development programs administered by the office, including the Qualified Allocation Plan, gap financing guidelines, underwriting guidelines, and design and architectural standards. She has also spent time in several roles with the Ohio Department of Development and as an urban planning consultant. Ms. Alecusan received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Science in City and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and a LEED Accredited Professional.




Betzi Cable
Betzi Cable, Accounts Payable Specialist

Ms. Cable joined OCCH in September 2022 and currently serves as the Accounts Payable Specialist. She is responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner for OCCH and affiliates. Prior to joining OCCH, Ms. Cable held multiple roles within the manufacturing, construction, and auto industries.


Isabella Moreno
Isabella Moreno-Construction Management Admin Assistant
Isabella Moreno joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) as the Construction Administrative Assistant in January 2023. She is responsible for a variety of project-level and administrative tasks within OCCH. Ms. Moreno holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from The Ohio State University, where she also received the opportunity to study in the United Kingdom and China. Prior to OCCH, Ms. Moreno served as a Customer Service Manager and Executive Assistant at Five Star Home Services. She provided support in areas such as business analytics, professional writing, communications, administration, and management.



Blake Steenrod, Fund Accountant
Mr. Steenrod joined OCCH in July 2022 as a fund accountant. His responsibilities include maintaining the accounting for several equity funds and reviewing audited financial statements, cost certifications and tax returns. He is also responsible for preparing quarterly investor benefit schedules and other financial information for his respective funds. Prior to joining OCCH, Mr. Steenrod was a senior accountant at Novogradac & Company specializing in LIHTC, HUD and RD audits, tax returns and cost certifications. Mr. Steenrod has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Otterbein University and is a Certified Public Accountant.


Scott Wemer
Scott Wemer, Corporate Accounting Manager
Mr. Wemer joined OCCH in August 2022 as the Corporate Accounting Manager. He is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of OCCH and Ohio Capital Impact Corporation’s financial statements. He has over 15 years’ property management experience including 8 years with tax credit properties. Mr. Wemer has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from The Ohio State University.
